furlover2194 Posted October 28, 2018 Posted October 28, 2018 I am a guy and I was checking out coats in a furrier in Portobello Road, however I found myself swiftly moved on by the manager as she told me they were all women’s coats and they had another store selling men’s coats in London. Has anyone experienced anything like this before?
paul2809 Posted October 28, 2018 Posted October 28, 2018 I had a similar issue with a furrier 1hour away from me..never returned
PleasureHound Posted October 29, 2018 Posted October 29, 2018 Say the following: "Pardon me, but the woman I'm shopping for cannot be here at the moment, this is a surprise gift for her, are you really going to turn away a Paying Customer? IF you continue to be rude, I shall take my business elsewhere"
Furever Heidi Posted October 29, 2018 Posted October 29, 2018 You should congratulate them on being able to identify a coat. Then ask them if they're able to identify a customer.
Smothered_In_Furs Posted October 29, 2018 Posted October 29, 2018 To that manager: "Did you just assume these fur's genders?! omg"
blakeymikey Posted October 29, 2018 Posted October 29, 2018 Sometimes its better just to order online.
ozfurlova Posted October 30, 2018 Posted October 30, 2018 You should congratulate them on being able to identify a coat. Then ask them if they're able to identify a customer. " title="Applause" /> " title="Applause" /> " title="Applause" /> Have to remember that one the next time I come across an ignorant store assistant
