likemyfurs
What is the difference between wolf and coyote coat softness. Wolf is a big animal and a coyote. Gray wolf has thick fur, made of blend of gray, yellowish-brown and black hairs. Coyote has grayish or reddish brown fur, which is usually slightly lighter in color. Thanks to the color of its fur, coyote looks like a smaller version of red wolf. But it does not tell anyone about the softness of a coyote fur vs wolf. Does anyone know that? AKcoyote
As always, softness has more to do with the quality of the pelt than the specie. However in general most wolf pelts are less soft than coyote as the guard hair is usually coarser.
