Guest
There was a seller on eBay who owned a pet chinchilla. He/she is from the UK. The auction was for chinchilla furballs coughed up by his/her pet chinchilla. Postage to a country outside of the UK was more than $700. This was lifetime postage (one chinchilla furball sent each month). The seller said that if a bidder won the auction, he/she could receive enough furballs to make a fur coat! Chinchilla fur fiber CAN be spun, but it MUST BE CLEAN, not coughed up from a chinchilla's respiratory tract. It also must be in roving form. A lady in Oregon is spinning four ounces of a chinchilla fiber blend for me. The blend consists of 75% chinchilla fiber, 20% Angora, and 5% mohair.
