furlvman1 Posted December 10, 2015 Posted December 10, 2015 That is guanaco fur which is a relative of the alpaca, llama, and vicuna. Vicuna is the softest, followed by alpaca (especially baby), guanaco, then llama.
Guest Posted December 10, 2015 Posted December 10, 2015 Thank you for your knowledge and time to answer my question. Have a nice day!!!
lynxette Posted February 19, 2018 Posted February 19, 2018 Good to know, as I would have said this was red fox based upon the collar and cuff edges. This does not look like the Alpacas I have seen.
RonGav Posted March 1, 2018 Posted March 1, 2018 The point is the baby is cuddled in fur from an early age. How could he/she ever NOT love fur?
lynxette Posted March 1, 2018 Posted March 1, 2018 Of course, that is the most important aspect, and the picture is adorable. I am now realizing though, that this type of fur was much more prevalent than I was aware, particularly in Europe during the 70's and 80's.
fursince63 Posted March 2, 2018 Posted March 2, 2018 I find the photo adorable, but the dog looks a little nervous around our fur wearing mom!
minkme Posted March 3, 2018 Posted March 3, 2018 Hey, it looks like the baby does not have a diaper on. Might be dangerous.
lynxette Posted March 3, 2018 Posted March 3, 2018 Personally, I would want to have some protection for the furs from accidents.
