FauxFurCollector
I am in the market for a short mink jacket, "corded" style. I have found two my size within my price range in good condition on eBay. One is a SAGA ranch mink, but the strips of leather are very visible. The other has no brand label indicating the quality of mink but it doesn't appear that any leather was used between the pelt strips. What is more important: SAGA quality mink, or quality of construction?
AKcoyote
Assuming the garments are used, the condition of the garment is the most important. Unfortunately it is impossible to tell from images if the pelts have dried out and many sellers do not know how to properly determine the condition. Panther10
Some minks can be quite pricey for an entry level coat. Especially if its a saga. You're better off with something like a finnish raccoon, a beaver coat or even a nice blue fox. What is your budget if you don't mind me asking?
