tylrkrby Posted July 9, 2015 Posted July 9, 2015 We're always talking about the best movies and TV shows with fur in them, but what about books? Besides Venus in Furs, can anybody here give me some recommendations for books featuring fur?
Coyote Posted July 9, 2015 Posted July 9, 2015 In the Sword of Truth series of novels, the main female character, Kahlen Amnell and her female bodyguard spend most of one of the books set during winter (Been a while since I read them, but I believe it was the second book, 'Stone of Tears'.) wearing a wolf fur cloak. If you like well written fantasy stories anyway, I highly recommend them. Don't let the sub-par TV adaptation put you off them!
Love for fur Posted July 9, 2015 Posted July 9, 2015 "Song of fire and ice" series by George R.R. Martin, more known as "Game of Thrones series" has a lot of fur in it. But it's most often in a very practical way. Such as people sleeping a lot with furs, but there are some astounding passages as well, such as when Daenerys is wearing her lion pelt (really some fantasy animal) and nothing else
