Guest Posted November 29, 2014 Share Posted November 29, 2014 I just got a sable stole at a second hand store yesterday. I now know why sable is so expensive. It is SOFT AND THICK. At any rate, I'm going to look into having some scarves made from the stole. There are three main pieces. There is fabric between them to allow for expansion. The stole is about six feet long (i.e. the pelts sewn end to end). It is dark brown. If it is going to cost too much to make scarves, I will pass it on. I'll let the den know first.
