Guest
When I was in first grade, either in 1990 or 1991, I went to the San Diego Zoo on a field trip. I got the chance to touch a live chinchilla. I remember being awed by how soft the fur was. Up to that point, I don't think I had ever touched any animal fur before, be it cat, dog, or hamster. It was an experience that I would never forget. In January 2006, I bought one beaver pelt, one ermine pelt, and three muskrat pelts from a seller on eBay and from that point on, I became hooked on furs. I've visited both remaining furriers in San Diego many times, been to the fur salons of Saks Fifth Ave and Bloomingdale's, and have had a wonderful time learning about furs. If I were rich enough, I'd buy myself a large, Barguzin sable blanket. I'd add an Icelandic eiderdown comforter for use during the summer months.
