Spell Check not working in Firefox or Thunderbird?

For awhile my spell checker has not been working in Firefox and Tbird. After a bit of searching I found a note where the dictionary has copyright problems and has to be added now independently. If you use one of these and your spell checker is not working, just add an English Dictionary and away it goes.

 

Strange part is that it did show as English US as being installed. But, the instructions that I used did say to add an English GB dictionary. Instead I added Canadian. Did the restart as required and away it went. But that fixed FireFox only. So, went to Tbird and did the same thing and it started immediately as well.

 

Strange that they do not seem to have this problem front and centre.
