grouchomg Posted July 31, 2010 Share Posted July 31, 2010 I lived in Lewiston, home of the Lewiston Daily Sun and the Evening Journal, back in what now seems like the Paleozoic Era. I remember Murphy's Furs. They survived past 1916 having a store on Lisbon Street in Lewiston when I taught at EL in the 1970s. Bless them for being around that long.
