Well we all know where to buy New Zealand possum and Nutria.

How about grey/black squirrel from the UK and mink from the UK? Can't seem to find them anywhere.

Mink farming is not extinct in the UK, so I think the trapping of wild (previously farmed mink that was ALF released) is not a good political option. Not sure how much of an issue they are in the wild but.....

As to squirrel, too small me-thinks???

Squirrel is not too small for fur. I have seen coats, blankets, collars, etc. made of squirrel.

Squirrel is great

I understand escaped Mink in the British Isles are creating real problems in some areas.

Unintended consequences but ALF and PeTA don't really care about that.

Also sheep in the Galapagos. They are killing off the poor endangered tortoises.

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

It depends on what species you are referring to. The northern fur seals are actually declining in population and scientists aren't sure why.
