Nah, just move further northwest. The high here today was 35F (2C). The low tonight is predicted to be in the 20sF (-2 to -6C).

I went for a stroll along the lakefront this evening. It was a beautiful but chilly night -- Around 36 degrees with a strong wind (10 - 15 MPH) and a full moon. I wore my Finn Raccoon coat and a favorite scarf, but didn't take gloves -- Which turned out to be a mistake (it was cold!). I'm looking furward to the next six months!

This has been my furriest fall ever -- I have worn my Finn Raccoon coat twice, my ranch mink jacket three times, and my faux ranch mink coat at least a dozen times so far this fall ... And the fur "season" has not officially begun yet.

 

You know what they say, "where there's a chill there's a way".

 

A Furry Fall to Y'All

Tonight will be the coldest night of the season to date -- A sharp temperature drop combined with unusually strong winds will yield a wind chill in the upper teens. The crystal fox and I are going out tonight!

Last year this time the ski slopes were opened.

 

This year they are still up there putting up new chair lifts in their t-shirts.

 

We had a brief cold snap and now its above normal.

The first snow flurries of the season are predicted for this evening. The crystal fox and I will be going out again tonight. Brrr. I've appreciated my crystal fox coat's "creature comforts" this cold, windy week.
