The annual fur sales survey from the International Fur Trade Federation (IFTF) shows some very promising figures indeed,

According to the IFTF statistics global fur sales increased for the 8th consecutive year last year to the impressive total of 13,49 bn US Dollars.

Total international fur sales in the 2005-2006 season increased by a healthy 5,6 % with the biggest increases in Eastern Europe, season Russia and the Far East.

These figures augur well for the future!

. . . with the possible exception that fur prices will continue to increase - ! It's always great to see evidence that fur is on its way back, but with that comes the grim reality of the law of supply and demand.
