So far seems harmless enough to me, although some may feel a bit left out though. Perhaps a bit of translation now and again Touch of Sable, so that all may remain on the same page so to say? After all, we are not all archeologists.

The whole thread was in Inuit; eskimo actually. Fur was mentioned in most of the posts.

 

Relevant firstly because it is international polar year and secondly because the Inuit are fighting to keep their fur trade.

 

And thirdly cos it was fun getting you all wondering what we were on about!

 

Anyway I certainly think it worth learning just a little vocabulary out of respect for their struggle; and humility for what our culture has done to them.
