Authors in fur………

I found this gem while reading my book.  I then searched for Virginia Woolf fur pictures.  That was the only picture I found of her wearing fur.  There surely must be other authors who wore fur.

I’m sure Dodie Smith who wrote the wonderful 101 Dalmations with the delicious Cruella De Vil must have had a fur coat.  I must do a Google search and see if there’s a photo of her wearing fur.

I remember a photo of author Danielle Steel wearing a red or crystal fox fur stole or coat and headband. The photo was on the back of one of her novels back in the day.  She looked very beautiful in fur.  I found it doing a quick Google search.

Not a photo of the author but she picked one hell of a cover. I judged this book by the effect the cover had on me... Had to plan a secret trip back to library to sign it out. I felt my face blushing as the librarian stamped the card.  I enjoyed going to bed a little early every night to read about furs in the privacy of my room as I fantasized about furs in my own distant future.

Shyfurwriter, a great find indeed!  What a coincidence as I signed out the exact same book from my local library years ago.  Not many photos in the book, but very informative.   I remember a similar shy feeling signing it out as well.  It was great finding a book dedicated to furs.  I think that book is gone now however as they replaced older books with new ones.

I have the exact same book! I got it from hay on wye. Which is a town of bookshops on the Welsh border in mid Wales.

I need this book
