Sable Fur

I know some of the shorter haired furs are not everyone’s cup of tea, but I just absolutely adore sable fur. There is a different beauty and elegance that separates it from Fox or Canadian Lynx. It is like a fur especially designed for royalty. There are tons and tons of fantastic photos and videos of mostly Russian women in these magnificent furs, and I thought I would start us with the beautiful Veronika, who models for Pret A Porter furs in Moscow.
 

what are your thoughts? Who are some of your favorite sable fur photoshoots of?

But just because it may be a “classier” fur, does not mean it is any less sexual. In fact I find it quite the contrary. Because of the higher class and exclusivity, it adds to the sexuality. Here are a few more sexually charged photos as examples

I find it to be very enticing. It's a different kind of turn-on for me than fox or finn raccoon. Something about a wealthy, beautiful woman, wearing tens of thousands of dollars on her body is very powerful. 

While we're on the topic, do you have a preference for the more modern style of horizontal pelts or the older style of vertical pelts?

I of course love the old school style, but to me it seems like the horizontal pelts add more volume and make the coat look more thick. I think it depends on what you're going for. The vertical pelts feel more "old money" and classy, like what you would see a billionaire's wife wear to an opera. The horizontal is more enticing and eye-catching, like "I want people to stop and stare."

Here is also one of my favorite fur lovers on instagram, Tamila Grande. A drop dead gorgeous Ukrainian model who constantly wears her sable furs absolutely everywhere.

Personally prefer the older style of vertical pelts .

Me too, vertical pelts are more elegant and seductive in the elegance and movement of the coat.

We used maybe a similar number of pelts for a coat but the coat felt more comfortable, more glamorous and more exclusive...

Always wanted to know why Sable pelts on coats almost always run horizontally versus the more accessible fox, coyote, and mink types. Probably been asked many times before but unfortunately there isn’t a chatbot integrated into the past threads to search.

Oh yes, "Golden Sable" is really beautiful and so elegant. We stroke "Golden Sable" with our eyes and after with our fingers, haha...

Yes! Love it. All of these furriers are such great follows on Instagram. I will forever be jealous of the obsession Russian/Ukrainian/Eastern European women have with furs! Especially top of the line, gorgeous, luxury furs such as these!

Mustelid fur is amazing, sable is nice to play with, but the longer silkier hairs of wolverine, fisher and pine marten drive me wild
