CoyoteFox Posted January 30 Posted January 30 Curious if there is a secret to listing fur coats on FB Marketplace? My fur coat listing was just rejected... Funny---I look at fur coat listings on FB Marketplace almost every day and there are hundreds listed right now in Canada. Did I just get a dick reviewer, or do I have to list it as an automobile or something to avoid the nonsense? Show me the way! 🤫 1
pnwhist Posted January 31 Posted January 31 One angle is to try to make a very plain Jane listing at first - very plain Vanilla and then once the post gets approved and it’s listed. Incrementally add more detail to your listing. If one of your iterations causes your listing to be yanked, then repost and see if there’s a descriptive workaround. Summary: KISS and then layer. 1
LeComte Posted Monday at 04:57 PM Posted Monday at 04:57 PM For FB I dunno, we don't use it so much over here. Vinted has the policy to not allow "animal products," a fur coat of mine has been rejected. I listed it on Vestiaire, ebay and kleinanzeigen.de instead. Though most interest was on Vestiaire, I sold it on ebay. Vestiaire's fees are way too high, like for a 350 € coat they add 100 €. That's why I list items on Vestiaire with this added fee.
Jsummers Posted Monday at 10:25 PM Posted Monday at 10:25 PM Not a perfect rule, but using the term “vintage” seems to help
jlkendrick Posted Tuesday at 12:34 PM Posted Tuesday at 12:34 PM Can you screenshot the listing details and post them here? I've gotten a few rejections, and I think I'm close to finding a pattern.
