Fur Blanket Care Question

Question to those who have fur blankets or use a fur coat as a blanket like I occasionally do.  Now that the warm summer weather is slowly going away and cooler weather is just around the corner, I am sure many of you are looking forward to these colder nights where the furs will used as blankets or maybe you are fortunate enough to have a fur blanket year round.  Questions for you folks.  Most fur coats are stored in a closet protected from harmful ultraviolet rays from the sun.  Closet will help prevent drying of the pelts, etc.  As for those fur blankets are fur coats used as blankets, these are usually left laying on the bed during the daytime.  The window and curtains would be open to air out the bedroom during the daytime.  Would the sunlight and air dry out the pelts or even cause the fur to fade in color? Oxidize? damage the fur?  Will the fur get discolored?  Will the fur get damage by your sweat when sleeping?

Just wondering what are your experience on fur used as blankets?  Is it something what we should not worry about?
