FurSwede Posted March 8, 2025 Author Posted March 8, 2025 Thank you! And that is not my most spectacular fur coat... 1

pnwhist Posted June 13 Posted June 13 I’m a bit bummed. From what I say of the 2026 postings it looked like the Rondy Royal Court went Fur Free almost entirely if not entirely. The last few years also have been a bit disappointing too as they looked like they went uniform and outfitted themselves with Inuit Coyote Parkas whereas I think David Green would loan out / sponsor his inventory so you’d see a mix of princesses wearing gorgeous foxes and minks and a Lynx from time to time. I was wondering why nobody here posted anything about it. 1
FoxFurStory_35 Posted June 13 Posted June 13 FurSwede, you definitely were getting a lot of looks in your coyote fur. Way to rock your furs out there! There were a lack of furs in the video overall at the Fur Rondy. However I’m not sure how affluent Anchorage Alaska is where most folks have the money for luxury items like furs. 1
FurSwede Posted June 14 Author Posted June 14 If you look at the video again you see there is a lack of something else too. Snow! 2024/2025 was a weird winter in Alaska. Warmer than usual and uneven snowfall over the season. That’s why there were not that many fur coats seen. It was just too warm for many people. I can contrast this with 2018 when I was also there. A lot colder, more snow and plenty more fur coats. 1
