Responding to your post, I have a black Mink jacket that I wear virtually every day in the cold weather.  I wear it primarily for casual activities (shopping, running errands, lunch, bars for drinks, etc).  As has been mentioned by numerous others, I find my Mink elegant and luxurious.  It contrasts with my blonde hair and I just love wearing it.  I do get a lot of compliments.  My furrier tried to sell me a black Mink leather reversible jacket, but I found it too heavy for me.

I must apologize, I am not very good on taking pictures.  Maybe it is the quality of my phone.  Anyway, below is my black Mink jacket

Nice.  Black color is very difficult to photography inside since it absorbs the light.  The pictures will come out better outside in the sunlight.

We had a chance this winter to capture the outside natural light… I think the snow elements complement and captures the essence of the coat quite nicely!

A floor length mink with a voluminous sweep is breathtaking. Having three together makes it even better.

When a fur coat drapes, falls, and swings like fabric, you know you have a quality item.

I do like the casual look of front [exterior] pockets on a fur coat.

Most of the coats pictured are let out [or dropped] pelts, and that makes for an elegant look. But texturally, it is hard to ignore the look and feel, including the weight, of a skin-on-skin garment.

Great selection of coats. Thanks.

a fellow connoisseur of mink coats, yes, i think female mink looks better let out, and male pelts skin on skin. I like the fact that mink have been scientifically bred just to make better and better fur coats, i find that downright uncaring and arrogant. but damned erotic too!
