dongleboy
Mrs. DB and I have booked to got to London to celebrate our 60th birthdays in February. Although I’ve never had any problems wearing fur in Scotland I’m wondering if the dynamic will be different in such a large city. I intend to wear my long jet black mink coat which is less obviously fur than my brown minks. Any thoughts or advice, please?
sta
We do it every year as a Christmas tradition. My wife wore her new mink jacket this year and we were out and about all day and out for the evening fully dressed up. We've never encountered any negativity and most years I've seen many other ladies wearing a mixture of vintage and new furs. There's nothing better than a stroll across Tower Bridge, then past the Cutty Sark, visiting a couple of pubs and then a Trip on the Thames Clipper up to Battersea and back. 1
Furcoats
My wife wore a black fox fur coat on Saturday in central London. Although there wasn’t much other fur around that night we didn’t encounter any negative comments just a few jealous stares. 2
claw
I have been to london several times and even in May the ladies wore fur when it was a bit colder/chilly weather. So I enountered a nice mink bolero at victoria station and that bamboozled me... 😉 what a nice tube ride... 🙂 I think London is one of the few european cities where fur is fine... go have a look at covent garden market, I think there are some furs to catch at the local flea market. 🙂
