What the !@#%& are these publicists thinking with these "auction your celebrity off for charity" things? Meh. So...yep, Beyonce gets my vote, especially after one afternoon when I was on my way to see my friend Jose at USA Furs on W 30th st. in Manhattan. He called me in advance and told me that they were closing the store for a couple hours in advance for V.I.P. security...later that evening, Jose told me that Beyonce brought her boo Jay-Z (perhaps y'all have heard of him?) in for a $19,000 fur shopping "quickie". USA's prices are so good (or else I wouldn't have bought my fox coat there), that I'm sure they walked out with at least five or six furs. Not bad for nineteen large. For other suggestions for nominees, search for LaTanya Richardson on GettyImages.com...or pictures of Spike Lee and his wife. Joan Rivers was swathed in sable this past season, as well as the facelifted and coiffed New York ladies featured in the NewYorkSocialDiary.com archives. Can't wait to see the poll! J.
