Norwegian lynx
It is called Frontier, and is set in the fur trade in Canada in the 18th century. Unsurprisingly, there is alot of fur garments and pelts around, and by far most of it is real fur. (It always annoys me when they use fake fur in historical films or series, it just takes away more autheticity). fluffa
Watched the 1st 4 episodes... Not actually a bad watch. Although my wife said you only like it because it has fur in it. I said it helps but not the only reason.

RonGav
We need to find who is supplying the furs for the production
samurman
We need to find who is supplying the furs for the production I am sure they roll that information in the credits.
lynxette
Since it is an Irish Canadian production, I would think Montreal furriers, or maybe Toronto, as Ireland is not really a fur paradise for manufacture any longer.
RonGav
I love the man's raccoon coat, by the way.
lynxette
Me too, but I wondered watching it if the Fin Raccoon was correct for the location and period. I suppose they were harvested in Europe even back then, and it is gorgeous, but I think perhaps NA raccoon would have been more accurate to the rest of the show.
