Chrisfurlover Posted June 14 Posted June 14 (edited) Well, I think it’s time to finally show this thing. This is my full length golden sable Szor-Diener fur coat. I have a wide frame and typically wear men’s xxl-xxxl and this sable is still massive on me. It has an English double notch collar (fur on both sides), 2 exterior pockets, spiral wide sleeves, 4 hook and loop clasps as well as being fully let out at the bottom. It’s only about 6-7 years old but it has been getting glazed and has been put into storage since this past January. Only reason I got it out is to take picture and some measurements. Sable has never been a piece I have dreamt about. I stumbled upon this coat and luckily bought it from a seller who did not know what it truly was. Currently in the works with a furrier of potentially trading this one for a full length Canadian lynx coat with a hood that will actually fit me.

Chrisfurlover Posted June 20 Posted June 20 (edited) On a lucky streak of finding random furs, or as my partner and I say “rescuing” furs from estate sales. I found this extra extra long purple fox boa, dyed a deep dark purple with what looks like a brown or orange tips to the ends up the fur. Sewn onto the ends of the tails are these little crystal beads that just make this piece unique. I didn’t say fashionable but definitely extravagant. This would be a hard fur to pull off out in public but I’m sure my lovely partner will find some way to drop my jaw to the floor. This boa/stole/wrap/ whatever you want to call it, definitely needs a cleaning and a glazing for sure. Fur is still in relatively good condition but you can just tell when it’s time for a cleaning. I really hope y’all enjoy my adventures! P.S. I’m really scratching my head as to what type of fox fur was used when making this stole, I just can’t figure it out.
