I can't afford anything if I only had a budget of two thousand bucks....A simple blue fox full length coat in my size would run upwards of $7,000 at least.

The second item Cyclobasti linked is plenty appealing - as are pretty much all the full length items from the seller, assuredsale. I would happily make any of them my second choice if someone here came suddenly into 2000 USD and sniped that Mysels one I linked.

Kind of yeah. I'm 6ft 2" and I weigh about 200 lbs. It's not an easy size to shop for.

I would use the advice from a furrier that I read a few years back. Get the nicest fur that that amount of money will get you. The direct advice from the furrier was that if you have $5000 to spend on a mink, you could get a far better quality sheared beaver for that amount while only getting an "OK" mink. I know this doesn't give direction, but if you are out and about in fur salons, then you can simply try on a whole variety of furs! That's always fun. Then you can look at age, use (or hopefully, lack of) type, cut and so forth.

Enjoy your adventure!

Thank you, that makes a lot of sense!
