itsend Posted April 6, 2010 Posted April 6, 2010 Supposed to be a new fur trend. What kind of fur is it? Is it real?
Worker 11811 Posted April 6, 2010 Posted April 6, 2010 It's got layers of Tibetan lamb and something else. Looks a lot longer than fox. Whatever it is, it looks weird.
Guest Posted April 6, 2010 Posted April 6, 2010 It's definitely real fur. You can see the strips of white leather with hair attached. It's some type of curly haired lamb (Tibetan or Mongolian) with fox or possibly Virginia opossum. Tricia
AKcoyote Posted April 6, 2010 Posted April 6, 2010 Definitely Tibetan lamb with what appears to be 2 other fur types. One looks similar to silver fox, but I am not sure of the other.
White Fox Posted April 6, 2010 Posted April 6, 2010 We see so many of these attempts to come up with "modern" furs. Most fail miserably. But this is not a bad little creation! I would say that they were very successful here! J
ReFur Posted April 7, 2010 Posted April 7, 2010 I have seen versions of knit furs made from Fox which have a similar look. Some of techniques which are used can be found in the Saga site. http://www.sagafurs.com/techniques.html
