White Fox Posted March 26, 2010 Posted March 26, 2010 God I would love to put this on and wear it down the street tonight!!! Something about it that I really love though would be better without the little angle piecings at the shoulders. W
Worker 11811 Posted March 26, 2010 Posted March 26, 2010 You're leaving this up to our imaginations. Right?
White Fox Posted March 27, 2010 Author Posted March 27, 2010 Sorry... Man, the first mistake I ever made in life! Now I will probably make them all of the time now that I have started the habit. Who can I blame here. There must be somebody! Here is the link. Tonight I wore my white mink and fox full length coat to a movie. I had worn it a good bit of the day today except for three hours or so inside the same building. I went in for supper wearing it. While I was waiting to be seated a family came along. Mom. Pop. And a kid about 3 or so heading home after having supper. The kid saw me and had to stand and look. And, she would only move when her Mom commented as well on my coat and how nice it was. And I smiled at the kid of course. During the day a number of people commented including one fellow who mentioned that I was a "Real Canadian"! Any Canadians here will remember that. A comment by a late Prime Minister who loved to wear fur. But at least 6 or so others commented during the day as well. Then, tonight as mentioned wore the coat to the theater. Waiting for popcorn. (Dam it they soaked me $3.50 for a 50 cent pop!) And wore it for about a quarter of the movie with folks all around. On the way back out. etc. What a day! Considering we all thought we would never wear fur again this year! Anyhow, I do wish that I'd had that blue fox. I do hate them when oxidized. However! That coat is absolutely beautiful with that hood up! If it had been here it would have gotten a lot of wear today alone! W
JGalanos Posted March 27, 2010 Posted March 27, 2010 Tonight I wore my white mink and fox full length coat to a movie. I had worn it a good bit of the day today except for three hours or so inside the same building. I went in for supper wearing it. Lucky guy! You beat me tonight. I wore my mahogany mink jacket to dinner and then on a little shopping excursion this evening. Temp was in the mid 30's F 6:00-ish so a tad warm for a full length coat. Hope you have a furry weekend, WF.
FrBrGr Posted March 27, 2010 Posted March 27, 2010 Who can I blame here. There must be somebody! Hey - Here I am! Over here! I've been blamed for just about everything around here - you might as well tack this one on, too! God I would love to put this on and wear it down the street tonight!!! Actually, I can think of something else I'd rather do with it - along with this one: . . . or this one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GPrhdMjHjd8 . . . or this one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ln2UDiZUTRU
White Fox Posted March 27, 2010 Author Posted March 27, 2010 I hadn't seen that one in white fox. Now you do have my thinking!!!!!! Only thing I would change is the way that the sleeve opens up at the bottom. To me that lets too much cold air in.
FrBrGr Posted March 28, 2010 Posted March 28, 2010 To me that lets too much cold air in. Hmmmm . . . Depends on what you use it for, I guess . . . . .

White Fox Posted April 7, 2010 Author Posted April 7, 2010 They seem to have the ability to alter very old styles slightly to make them modern. Most furriers don't seem to have that and instead make wild creations that probably few people will ever want. W
