With opossum I always think of those 'possum lined rain coats that were popular back in the late 70's/early 80's. I remember trying one on at Alexander's (NYC) in '82. They had an open fur department with lots of men's styles (this was back in fur's heydey) and I was free to wander from rack to rack, trying on coyote, mink, and other furs at my leisure. And trust me, I did.

 

Those were the days.
