Fur ID....

Normally I can tell a mile away what most furs are, but this one I saw recently has baffled me (it was advertised as fox, it's clearly not. It appears to be some sort of cat, but I find it hard to judge specifically what type)

It is also the civet that is responsible for Kopi Luwak coffee.

 

The nocturnal palm civet sneaks into the coffee plantations at night and eats the ripe berries off the coffee bushes. The civet poops them out partially digested then people come along and pick up the civet poop, clean it, roast it and grind it into coffee.

 

Can you believe that people pay more than $500.00 USD for a pound of cat crap?!

 

I don't know if I could ever knowingly drink liquified cat crap!
