Guest
http://www.kimonoexhibit.com/index.htm The exhibition just wrapped up in San Diego. Now, the kimono are headed off to Canton, Ohio, to be displayed for a few months. All I can say is that the kimono are fabulous! I saw them at the Timken Museum and San Diego Museum of Art in Balboa Park. Words do not describe their beauty adequately. The Symphony of Light series is just spectacular. 30 kimono depict the winter and fall. Each kimono took one year to make and they contain threads dipped in real gold and silver.
