Celebs ~~ a question

Has any read any articles in which celebs confess to liking fur? I am not talking about JLO, Lil Kim, etc as they are obviously well known. I am thinking lesser known celebs. As I am English I am thinking UK celebs in particular. If you find out that a particular celeb does like fur does it change your view of them? For me it does. I would be most greatful if people would reply and (if possible) attach a copy of the article.

 

For example I recall someone once saying that Sian Lloyd (weather girl) wore fur but I have been unable to verify this for myself (anyone got the article to post?)

 

I have read articles in which Mylanie Klass wore a gorgeous lynx coat and Jordan (Kate Price) wore mink and a leather coat with sliverfox.

 

Perhaps lesser known is that Lucy Pargeter (Emmerdale) confessed in a mag to having bought a "gorgeous Matthew Williamson fur coat" (as she put it) in Liverpool the other year. I also know that Emily Symons has stated that her best item of clothing was a sheared mink jacket which has lasted her years.

 

Again, more common knowledge is that Geri Halliwell wears fur, as does Victoria Beckham (although in public she usually goes for faux fur). Mel B (also spice girls) also wears fur. Samantha Mumba wear it and (obviously) Colleen McLoughlan and Alex Curran (Steve Gerrards girl). Jennifer Ellison has been pictured in some stunning furs, as has Danielle Lloyd (big brother and ex-wag).

Interesting topic that would be so great to have answered. However, I am afraid that most movie stars would likely be afraid to be known that way.

Yeah perhaps. I sometimes browse through magazines and you do actually see the occasional celeb making a passing mention to wearing fur. I also recall coronation street actress Suranne Jones (Kasen) being featured in Hello wearing Mukluks and a gorgeous rabbit fur jacket.

 

 

The series Wags Boutique also featured an extremely June Sarpong wearing a rabbit jacket in one of the first episodes.

 

If anyone can scan in any articles featuring comments made by celebs about their liking for fur then I would be most grateful.

By the way I just did a search and found an example of a (purposely?) fur jacket described as faux x 2 - Tara Palmer Tomkinson loves fur (I've seen her in at least 5 trimmed articles) and here is one of June Sarpong

Some interesting spots although most are fairly well known to me except the Emily Simons one which would be nice to see. Lucy Pargeter has worn a few furs (mostly rabbit I think) both on screen in Emmerdale and in some publicity/private photos and behind-the-scenes interviews. Actually Emmerdale has featured a few furs in recent years, including Lorraine Chase wearing a dark mink coat for a few episodes a couple of winters back.

 

The Sian Lloyd comment was told to me by someone who I have no reason to doubt but there has been no photographic evidence. June Sarpong must have a few nice furs too, having worn them on screen a few times in various TV shows.

Thanks Mr M - Sian Lloyd is a girl who I think is very nice looking. Lorraine Chase is a little older but still fairly glamerous!
