For the not too faint of heart

As wonderful as that is, I don't think I could ever see myself spending $35,000 for it... hell, I can get a new car for that!

Oh my...that is incredible.

So that poses a question: if I had the money, would I be better off buying

a) that throw

b) a full length sable coat for my wife

Anybody want to chime in?

And a full length fox coat for you as well.

FLinFL;

Funny you say that.

My dad said the same thing to our local furrier in 1949 about a Mink coat he was looking at for mom

I wanted him to go for the coat of course

That is so wrong to show me that when I have enough trouble budgeting as it is being a uni student!

Heavenly as it is, I'd probably spend it all fox and/or lynx blankets of the same value if I had the cash spare (Assuming I didn't have to concern myself with a new car, which is highly unrealistic)

I've always had my eye of the lovely furs that eBayer has. If only I could make his shop my private collection

Decisions, decisions ...

As long as we're dreaming ... I think ideally there would be money fur both!

But if I had to choose, as much as I crave a sable coat myself ... I think the throw would be more practical (likely get more use and thus more bang for the buck) and in its own way be just as beautiful and luxurious as the coat would be.

I emailed the seller. He told me it is made of 34 sable pelts.

If you can't afford sable, get baum marten. It is much less expensive than sable and is similar in color and softness.
