Yes, its definitely possible to save the videos. I'm sure there are numerous ways to go about it.

 

The easiest way I have found is to go to http://www.youtubex.com/. There, you simply paste the URL of the video from the address bar in YouTube into the "Download" box. You will need to save it with an .flv (flash video) extension (by typing .flv after the file name you want to save the video under).
