HELP --- Fox Fur I.D.?

Quick question for the fox fur experts out there...

Which specific (or even what seasonal) variety of fox is this coat?

The base color is obviously white, but the accent fur is a reddish "apricot" color...

I have my suspicions, but would like to ask the experts.

I think this is an easy question, but we are all here to share our expertise!

Looks like it could be amber fox or maybe some kind of platinum shadow fox or fawn fox but it’s very aged and the color has faded.

there is also a type of fox fur that was bred and it’s technically a type of cross fox that’s called Blue Island. It’s basically a mix between a golden island fox and a blue fox and the offspring of these two parents result in a type of fur that has the general qualities of a blue fox in terms of its pile, but the color has a slight apricot-ish tint. I’ve included a pic

I’m still leaning towards amber fox but here is a pic of the blue island along with an amber fox for good measure

It looks like blue fox to me.  But I am by no means an expert.

Blue Fox with aging

Curious what you see that indicates "aging"... Not getting defensive, but rather want to get better at appraising coats!

The last photo has the ever so slightest yellow tone begining through the under fur, sometimes just the arm left on the rack exposed to light.

It's not bad but looks that way in the photo -could be just the photo.

Definitely blue fox.

It was more my wife who picked it up, she has worked with fur for years and has a way better knowledge than me!

Yellowing of the fur is oxidation of the fur that happens naturally over time based on my research.  Noticeable on vintage furs.  The challenge with shopping online is that photos can be edited with many, many changes to the original to make them look better.  Then once you see the fur in reality its colour and quality can be less than our expectations.  I always remember the phrase “buyer beware “.
