kev86 Posted December 29, 2025 Posted December 29, 2025 Hey fur friend, Today, I received a message from "Dilart", this one sent me pictures about three fur coats... Three sheared Mink coats but I can't make my choice... i love the blond color for a sheared Mink. I find it glamorous with the collar! A reversible one but I find the color too discreet. What do you think about these three sheared mink ? Thank you for your feedbacks... 2
winston97 Posted December 29, 2025 Posted December 29, 2025 In my opinion, faux fur feels better than most mink. Also these are not stylish at all unless you are like a super hipster or something 😂 2
kev86 Posted December 29, 2025 Author Posted December 29, 2025 If you're just going to write such nonsense, you might as well say nothing. I won't be wearing faux fur, given how bad environmental pollution already is. While a mink fur coat lasts for years and then generations, your faux fur will be good for nothing but the trash. Respect the fur community, 90% love and prefer wear real fur. We don't are a hipsters. 2
hawk_560 Posted December 29, 2025 Posted December 29, 2025 I dont like the first one. And between grey and black I would prefer the shine of black 1
Efferus33 Posted December 29, 2025 Posted December 29, 2025 To be honest I am not fond of the first two. In terms of quality the grey looks a bit average, but it could also be the picture. Are those new or second hand coats? Generally speaking I prefer the last one. I would say it also depends on your style. 1

I would say it also depends on your style. The grey is not my favourite, I find it a little short. Yeah, the black is really beautiful but I think it's a dark brown colour, little nuances of brown. The black mink cost 1280€. The reversible look is just fabulous and i appreciate it... The coat from a collection of 2021/2022. Not a new but not a second hand.
LeComte Posted December 29, 2025 Posted December 29, 2025 Of the three coats, I prefer the second. The first looks a bit odd to me, maybe because of the strong black/beige contrast. And views of the front would be great. Although the pattern is interesting. The second is quite classy and stylish. The big collar has a 50ies vibe and should be great to snuggle on your neck. Also, people might think it's a faux coat, though connaisseurs recognize quickly. Again, front view would be good. The third looks a bit uninspiring to me. Also, I'd appreciate a slightly larger collar (especially as the cuffs are contrasted). But it's reversible, which is great in some instances. And discretion can be a bonus. Is the mink really sheared? Sheared mink feels great! Much softer than unsheared mink. Together with its durability it makes for agreat lining (reversible coat!). 1
ozfurlova Posted December 30, 2025 Posted December 30, 2025 (edited) My opinion: save your cash and wait for something better. It sounds in the last comment you've made above that none are really grabbing you so it appears you may be making a purchase for the sake of a purchase Edited December 30, 2025 by ozfurlova 3

I imagine that in January a few furrier will sell discounted coats. If your budget is 1800€ I’m sure you can find something great. It would also be an excuse to try many furs !! 1

Indeed, the second coat could be interpreted as faux fur... The reversible mink coat is easier to wear during the day, although discretion isn't an issue. I appreciate a certain understated elegance for everyday wear; we're not in Monaco, after all... Yes, it's sheared mink. Dilart offers a wide variety of sheared mink for all budgets. I paid €1200 for my gray sheared mink, but I'm not disappointed because it keeps me warm all day long during this cold weather. It was Jérôme who introduced me to sheared mink, and I must admit I'm finding it hard to go back to a classic mink coat...

I don't have the mentality of wanting to accumulate furs. Having four mink coats, I alternate between them... Dilart should be getting a beautiful sheared mink in a chocolate/coffee shade with a more elegant cut soon, so I'm quite curious...
furs limited Posted December 30, 2025 Posted December 30, 2025 The 1st is mink pieces, the second is a bit plain. I would go with the reversible or wait for better choices. 1

After that, the budget dropped to €1250 because I ordered a Rex rabbit throw from Fenzo for my sofa! I admit that if I could leave a little room in the budget, that would be great...

FoxFurStory_35 Posted January 1 Posted January 1 If going mink, I’d say go with the black as that is classic mink colour and stands out more. GL in your future fur purchase! Cheers 1

GL in your future fur purchase! Cheers Thank you so much. Yeah, the black is a classic colour like the dark brown or iris blue... I search from many fur stores but the sleeve length is just short, missing 5CM/6CM. Dilart is the right one who had many mink coats with sleeves length : 72CM.
