kev86 Posted November 29, 2025 Posted November 29, 2025 (edited) Hey fur friend, I hope your enjoying your fur today, the fur season is open and we are happy to stroke and wore it outside or inside... I read different post from the members fur who posted pictures of her blankets from Fenzo. I talked with Theo (owner of Fenzo) today and this guy proposing me a blanket for my leather sofa... This beautiful Rex blanket in high dimensions : 220CM × 220CM. What do you think about this idea ? Personally, I find this blanket really beautiful and really warm for a sweet evening... Thanks for your feedback my friend... Edited November 29, 2025 by kev86 2
Zaphod_bee Posted November 29, 2025 Posted November 29, 2025 Hello, I have done projects with Theo as well - and he is legit ! As for this blanket you have to be aware that it is beautiful because it is rex (my mst to go to fur as for price and what you get!) but also need to know that it is made from small pieces; so a lot of sewing is done to get it. I personally go for the more expensive "full pelt" variant, but if you are looking for it to be as cheap as possible - go for it ! You might expierience ripping earlier, as there are a LOT of seams ... 3

I hesitate between the full pelt one-sided or double-sided with the second side in white Rex... Of course, more pelt used, more I'm happy with Rex hahaha... I hesitate with the Blue fox double-sided blanket but i ordering a tailor-made with Golden island pelt... I take my time for ordering my real crush... I think ordered for end of April, in a first time I'm moving in another city for end of January/beginning of February... Edited November 29, 2025 by kev86 1

furlvman1 Posted November 30, 2025 Posted November 30, 2025 I use those blanket ever night. After two years there are some small tears where the threads have gone bad on one. But they get pretty heavy use. 1
kev86 Posted November 30, 2025 Author Posted November 30, 2025 Thank you for your feedback, i wait next year for choosing correctly my next blanket from "Fenzo". I want ordering my blanket from "Lars Paustian" too
syfr Posted December 1, 2025 Posted December 1, 2025 I am excited for you! You seem to be appreciate many pelts used. In my opinion, the design you have shared, with the many small pieces, looks more 'cheap'. I prefer the ones with full pelts. 1

I appreciate to see many pelts used, this is a personal pleasure to count the number of pelts used for a fur blanket especially when this one is double-sided... I'm totally agree with you, my feeling is more attracted by the blanket full pelts (one side or double-sided). The quality and the softness are amazing... Rex rabbit is very lucky and I don't want to take away this wonderful privilege from him... 1
saynotofaux Posted December 1, 2025 Posted December 1, 2025 Some blankets are made from “plates” offcuts & scraps sewn into large squares called plates. The flanks and belly parts of the skins that are very thin & don’t wear well go into these plates. Full pelt is a more expensive but longer lasting product as it uses the back, the best part of the skin. That’s why for instance a pieced fox blanket is a few hundred quid, but a full pelt one runs to thousands. 3

Surely a full pelt is more appreciated for this durability ! I see with my wolf full pelt, I use the blanket since 3 years during autumn until end of spring season and the blanket is not damaged and don't move... The comfort of wolf pelt is just fantastic, I'm not fan of wolf in natural but when we talk about fur, wolf is immediately my best friend...
