Brainstorming - How to Upgrade this Sheared Mink Jacket?

On my local FB Marketplace, someone is selling this sheared mink jacket in very good condition at an excellent price. I love the rich brown colour. Plus, I've always wanted to add a sheared mink to my collection (the more types of fur I can have hanging in my closet, the better 😈). However, though soft and velvety, sheared mink by itself is kind of 'boring'. I was thinking of taking it to my local furrier to add a thick fox collar and cuffs...maybe even along the bottom hem also.

I thought it'd be fun to see what suggestion you fine people have. What types of fox would match the brown colour? Any other fur types you would suggest? Perhaps you have some inspiration photos? BTW I wouldn't wear this coat out (I don't wear my furs out anyway) - it would just be for home play by myself and with my wife.

Thanks in advance!

Well, actually this is your chance to wear a fur out. Sheared mink looks like fake fur to most people. It's super comfortable. And you can make a superb fur lining out of it, that's amazing on your skin.

For the coat: the collar is nice, pretty much like a suit collar. I would ditch the belt and add two rows of buttons. That would be pretty much it.

If you really want to add another fur I'd contrast it with something wild like lynx/bobcat or coyote. Or some cross fox. But I personally would stay away from adding another fur.

Thanks for the feedback! Appreciate the different viewpoint.

That sounds like a good idea. I may just leave it as is for now, wear it out, see how it feels....

However, I'm still interested in hearing other people's suggestions for adding another fur type!

Rex chinchilla or chinchilla fur collar and cuffs would make your coat stand out in the crowd and or golden isle fox or red fox ..
