pnwhist Posted 16 hours ago Posted 16 hours ago Here are the photos from my collection. In the last decade more or less, it seems like they Court has been going for more of a uniform look with the Inuit parka style. Prior to that, the fur pieces and fur types were all over the place which I absolutely loved. Not sure if I got all of them but I’m sure somebody will fill the gap. 8 1
Maine Fur Lover Posted 13 hours ago Posted 13 hours ago In 2011, on our way to visit my son's family in Valdez, we got to see this parade which included fur-clad lovely women "goddesses" for lack of a better term. What also amazed - and surprised - me were the number of people lining the streets that also wore fur. This included many men. I was impressed. 1
Kidnapped Posted 9 hours ago Posted 9 hours ago I need to travel more... my God, to run into such a parade...? That would be a dream come true 1

That would be a dream come true Most of the recent parades have been captured on Youtube. There are other threads on here regarding this Festival! Glad it got revived! 1
kev86 Posted 8 hours ago Posted 8 hours ago Really amazing to see this festival comeback since many years, always great to see old traditions are saved ! Fabulous to see many ladies of all ages who are proudto wear fur like a symbol of liberty and a heritage... This festival is really nice to see many people's wrapped in fur, and oneself had opportunity to wear fur in a magical place and don't think about the judgement of others ! 1
