Its been crazy hot here the past 4 days, well into the 30s..about 10C above normal.. but mid week takes a total reversal.. low +5 on Tuesday, says feels like +3 with a North wind...

Thats a good enough excuse for me for a fur coat in the back yard! Looking at the long range, Id guess mid october Ill be able to go for my morning fur walks again...

It has cooled down here in North By East And East Somemore.  I wore one of my hooded fx coats when I went out to the deck to have my coffee.

This guy is my go-to on YouTube for accurate weather... His forecast for Winter 2025/26 is looking great for those of us who have a vested interest in the "beautiful people" deciding to publicly wear the vintage fur that they've been buying in the deep freeze temperatures...

Will society say "Fuck it" and take us back to 1991 where we left off?

Probably not, but any progress feels almost therapeutic for me and some you I'm sure!

Looking at the forecast and then the 2 week for Winnipeg, the guy is pretty well bang on.. particulalry this week come Wednesday... they've already revised the temps from a few days ago for later this week to be about 3-5 below normal for the highs... they arent showing anything about that 2nd cold shot 2 weeks from now, but the way the pattern has gone this year he's probably pretty accurate... as much as I love summer.. its been pretty bad here... lots of forest fire smoke, I spent more weekday evenings inside than outside because its been so bad...  looking forward to my cross country ski and apres fur coat drives home at this point...
