Happy to see it was cleaned up. The site was not hacked, but a bot script worked around the protection against automated account creation.

Yeah, this is just a bad event but the spam was tiring... Good if the solution is finded !

Now, we comeback for enjoying our fur !

Recently when trying to log in to this website I’ve been seeing the “This website’s certificates are not up to date and entering may harm your computer.” I assume there is a direct correlation between these two events?

I don't think so. An expired certificate means that the communication between your browser and the website is still secure, but the certificate to encrypt this traffic is no longer trusted by the issuer of the certificate.
