Slowly, slowly, they're coming out. I'm off tomorrow, so I just stole a bit of time to skim the surface of the 40,000 photos that show up when you punch in the word 'fur' at webshots.

 

Here's a wee preview...and keep posting whatever you find...I don't think I'll be doing photo diaries quite the same way next year. It's time for a different format.

Webshots just gave us a Christmas gift: the "newest first" tab at the top of every photo search page! When you click it, it will display a small selection of the newest photo, video or album results for your search term. SO, what that means for us, is the 40,000 results for "fur" are sliced neatly down to about 280.

i guess i could post pic's of fur hats & hoods all day. but that's no fun. It seems like younger people are hesitant to take the full leap into jackets & coats. But hats & hoods are a good start. oh well i'll keep searchin.

Not for nothing, TOS, but are you interested in someone just holding a cigarette or someone actually smoking?

 

I only ask because many of the pics you call "smoking" pics show someone holding an unlit cigarette. Some people, including the authorities, do not consider that to be smoking any more than holding a pistol means firing the weapon.

Assuming the coat is real fur, methinks furriers could use this photo as "Exhibit A" in their argument re: why annual cleaning, glazing, and storage is a good investment! 8)

 

Actually, sometimes a "poorly care for" fur eventually does look like a fake! I can see a furrier doing well using a picture like this to say,"If you don't want your beautiful fur to look like a fake, we can help!":lol:
