Hey y’all, not a lot of people from Texas on this site but I can’t blame them, it doesn’t get that cold that often here. Honestly very glad I found this site as it offers up an opportunity for many of us to be open about our niche interests. I’ve always loved fur and fur fashion and have been able to enjoy wearing my fur coats out and staying warm during our winters here. I love what this community is about and look forward to being active. Hope this post finds y'all well 🙂

Hi All, I just signed up as a new member. I HATE fur coats, but I LOVE fur rugs. I have a collection of fur rugs on the floor all over our apartment and we even wear shoes on them. In fact, we have found that animal skins actual last longer with shoes than with bare feet or socks. They also help keep the carpets and floor clean (the only time we take our shoes off is when the floor is not covered with a hide, or to put our feet on the bed or couch). Sheepskins, goatskins, deerskins, and alpaca rugs are my favorites for high heels, Uggs, and sneakers. Alpaca rugs and deer hide do tend be fragile but we've worn our Rollerblades and roller skates on them without any problems. I look forward to future discussions and meeting others with the same interests.
