dongleboy Posted March 6, 2020 Share Posted March 6, 2020 (edited) I almost fell off my kitchen chair tonight whilst watching the BBC 6 O' Clock News. A Portuguese artist named Joana Vasconcelos was interviewed in Yorkshire for having installed a giant cockerel in a public garden devoted to similar sculptures. However, my interest was less in her art than the fact that she was wearing a full length mink coat! I said to my wife that it must be decades since I've seen someone wearing real fur on British TV. A tiny bit of research shows that she is a very successful artist with her pieces going for eye watering sums of money. Nice to see someone waving the flag for real fur!
