MistressAdalia Posted November 23, 2018 Share Posted November 23, 2018 Dear Fur Fans, I organised a small, select gathering of like minded people who met last Monday night, 19th of November, 2018 at a secret location in England. The gathering was 50/50 fur loving gentlemen to Ladies, and, apart from one couple, every guest was a stranger to the rest of the party at the beginning of the evening, so a big cheer for all the brave souls who trusted me enough to invest in a ticket and make the journey to meet like minded people, with no previous experience and nothing but my word for it that it would be an AMAZING evening. We started with the guests who were staying overnight arriving late afternoon and checking in to the exclusive use venue, followed by other guests who were greeted personally and introduced to the rest of the party individually. The dress code was FUR and everyone brought at least one piece, some brought many, and these were hung on clothing racks for others to admire and discuss. We started the evening with and ice breaker of elegant Gin Martinis (Elderflower presse in champagne glasses for the drivers) and once everyone was assembled and introduced, we paired off and took a walk arm in arm in the beautiful gardens (in the dark). We returned to a cash bar and elegant canapes which were consumed standing in a beautiful wood paneled room laid out with poser tables, in order to better display the furs being worn. As the night progressed, guests posed for photographs (I can't share all of them) and sharing of furs evolved - not something I had envisaged, but a wonderful treat. Everyone was very polite and respectful, and a marvellous time was had by all. I hope you enjoy the pictures I am authorised to post. Please don't share them, and do PM me if you have any questions. A lovely fur friendly evening event, An opportunity to dress up and display our wealth and hedonism without the negative folks doing what they do best. You seem to be the perfect host for such an event. Certainly someone who loves furs enough to set up an event like this. This is the closest to the idea of a fur lovers convention that been thrown around here on the forums. I really enjoyed the event - I have to say it was one of the more challenging events I have organised, mostly due to the logistics of getting it out to the Right audience whilst not alerting the Crazies. I am grateful to my friend Mink who suggested this site and to NeoJaguar for allowing me to post here. It was an awesome night. We all really enjoyed it Someone from the US has posted on this link wanting to be pm'd if anyone is interested. The formula will work anywhere. The challenge is getting a fur friendly, exclusive use venue. Mine was a Monday which meant that fewer people were 'free' (as in - had to take time off work or travel on a school night) but a weekend at this particular venue would have made it financially challenging as they require a minimum spend of £9,000. There wasn't a person there that I wouldn't want to spend more time with and I have made some wonderful new friends. I hope the friendships forged on Monday night will continue, and I am meeting some of the gentlemen so that we can wear our furs in public . I wear mine every day when it's cold, and if I can give just one person the confidence and venue to do the same, I will feel I have done a good job. Thank you, MinkMe Choice of venue is pivotal in specialist events such as this, and the first thing to check if, like someone else on this thread has offered, you are thinking of running one. I run a lot of (vanilla) events, and this is the first one of this kind I have organised - so I know the owner of this venue personally. He checked with his staff, and had there been any resistance at that level I would have looked for another venue. As it turned out, we were a relatively small group, and had a member of staff assigned to us for the evening. She wore my sapphire mink and accompanied us on our delightful walk through 7 acres of landscaped gardens. I think we won her over...... Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Of course I don't mind you asking, Baxel. It's a fair question. My initial audience was going to be older ladies with beautiful furs in their wardrobe that they are reluctant to wear, having lived through the PETA bullying hate campaign of 1994. Unsurprisingly, all but one of the models paid to do that shoot have since been photographed wearing fur, but that's another story..... The Actual uptake was straight men with a fur fetish, all of whom are on FetLife and straight ladies who love fur and reveled in the adoration, so it worked out perfectly. Out of respect for the venue, there was no kink behaviour, so you can make up your mind whether it was a kink event or not, in the end. I am thinking of adding a 'Fur Tie and Tease ' option at extra cost with a Dominatrix at the next one, but this would be in one of the private suites and not in a communal play area.
